    Germanium, not silicon, silly!
Hi, I just received my copy of the first edition of Pulp circuit! I am a novice pedal experimenter, and super thrilled to have a physical something to flip through and reference. That said, I think I found an error, but I am not proficient enough to say so with confidence (I would appreciate your telling me if I am right or wrong). On the component list for the Fuzz Face Freebie, you have the Pol. Mat. for the Texas Square face listed as "NPN, Si", but I think the NTE103 transistor is Germanium, not Silicon. Anyway, love this book, and am very excited for the next edition! Thanks!
You're absolutely right, Sam. The NTE103 is a GERMANIUM NPN transistor, not a silicon NPN as we had typed on pg 8. Thanks for letting us know. And now, by the power vested in me by no one in particular, I hereby pronounce you proficient enough for confidence! Go man, GO!
CROSSWORD: You CAIN't do it if I botch the damn clue!
I'm stuck. I can't seem to figure out 4 ACROSS...
It would probably help if I provided a clue that actually worked here. My appologies. I goofed! The clue for 4 ACROSS should read, "The TL072 is a type of..."
    Go figure...
In the "How low can you go" article on page 27, I believe it should read "Figure 2" instead of "Figure 7". I know it's a small detail but it threw me for a loop for a moment there.
No question here, Jeff. You're correct. I would say, "I can't believe I missed that", but at this point... well... believe it. I'm glad you caught it though! Thank you.
    Positively incorrect!
Is the "free fuzz one for all" schmatic Vin mislabeled? Should it +9v for NPN & -9v for PNP?
By golly. You're correct! On pg 8, figure 1, under the "Vin" label, the -9V / +9V text is flipped. It should say, "+9v NPN [or] -9v PNP".
